The inspiration behind sunday

This is the view from co-founder Dr. Naji's bedroom in the mountains

and this is the view from co-founder Lama family's home.

We both noticed the same thing. Whenever we woke up there, we felt amazing.

No alarm panic.
No stress.
No dragging ourselves out of bed.

Just sunlight slowly filling the room and a calm start to the day.

Then life happened.

Lama moved to New York.

Dr. Naji moved to London.

And suddenly mornings looked very different.

Most of us go from deep sleep to full panic mode in about three seconds. Alarm. Phone. Emails. Stress. Repeat.

At first, we thought the solution was more coffee. Then we thought maybe we just needed more vacations.

So we found ourselves constantly chasing that feeling.

Flying back home.
Planning beach trips.
Escaping to the mountains whenever we could.

But that feeling wasn't really coming from the destination. It was coming from how we were waking up.

Natural light.
Slow mornings.
A calmer start to the day.

And we thought: There has to be a better way than booking a flight every time we want to feel human again.

So we started building sunday.

A sunrise lamp inspired by those mornings we never wanted to leave behind.

The goal wasn't to create another gadget.

It was to bring a little piece of those peaceful mornings into everyday life.

Especially on a random Tuesday.

so we built the most advanced sunlight rhythm lamp in the world

As a hormone physician, Dr. Naji dug deeper into light biology, sleep science and hormonal rhythms to perfect the science behind sunday.

sunday was created to bring that missing element back into the right moments, so your body can return to the rhythm it was designed for.

" Light is medicine. So is darkness"
